Frequently asked questions about Fomo, ticket resale in India, verified listings, and staying safe when buying or selling event tickets.
Fomo is India's verified secondary ticket marketplace for live events - concerts, music festivals, stand-up comedy shows, and sports matches. Sellers list their tickets for resale, we verify each ticket before it goes live, and buyers browse verified listings and contact sellers directly to close the deal. It's peer-to-peer ticket resale with a verification layer to cut out scams.
Fomo covers a wide range of live events across India - including music concerts, multi-day festivals, stand-up comedy shows, sporting events (cricket, football, and more), and other ticketed experiences. We currently focus on major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, and Chennai, though our reach is growing as more sellers and buyers join.
Fomo covers live event ticket resale across India, with strong activity in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, and other major metro cities. If there's a ticketed event happening in India, you can list or find resale tickets for it on Fomo - regardless of city.
Fomo is available to download on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). Search "Fomo tickets" to find us. You can also access Fomo through our website. Creating an account is free and takes under a minute.
India does not have a blanket national law prohibiting private ticket resale. However, individual event organizers may have terms of service restricting resale for their specific events, particularly for high-demand shows. Fomo facilitates peer-to-peer resale and recommends users review the specific terms for each event they're buying or selling. We always encourage fair, transparent transactions.
Fomo is currently free for both buyers and sellers. There are no listing fees, no buyer surcharges, and no service fees added on top of the listed price. The price you see is the price you pay (agreed directly with the seller). This may evolve as we add new features, and we'll be transparent if anything changes.
